Diagnosing A Retroverted Uterus

Most women who have a retroverted uterus have no idea and only find out incidentally through testing for another issue. Diagnostic imaging such as pelvic CT scans or MRIs reveal that the uterus is tilted backwards.

Treating A Retroverted Uterus

It is very rare that a retroverted uterus needs treatment. In severe cases that are causing fertility issues or other complications, the patient may want the condition corrected. Correcting a retroverted uterus involves a surgical procedure to shift the uterus into the correct position.
